2016 Love-A-Thon: Spine Poetry

The 2016 Love-a-Thon is hosted by Alexa from Alexa Loves Books, Cee from The Novel Hermit, Hazel from Stay Bookish, and Mel from The Daily Prophecy.

This weekend has been all about spreading love and positivity in the book blogging community, and the event isn't over yet! Yesterday, we introduced ourselves and shared a mix and match post (among other mini-events), and today, we're sharing book spine poetry.

Mini Challenge #3: Book Spine Poetry

Some of you who visited my blog during the event last year might recall that I took the titles of books and actually composed a poem. It was different, but it worked out because my camera wasn't working at the time. This time around, I was really planning on stacking up the books and snapping a few pictures, but I was missing one key book for the poem that I wanted to come up with! Bummer, right?

So I needed to do some creative thinking. Once again, I've taken titles to write a poem. I really hope you enjoy this one, and who knows... maybe I'll finally be able to write a real spine poem by next year's event.

I'll Give You the Sun,
The Moon and More,
For all of you, I do adore.
Stars Above! This is really real.
P.S. I Love You.

While this year's poem isn't as long as last year's, I'm happy with how it turned out. I still don't think I'm a poet, but sometimes I feel creative. Anyway, feel free to let me know what you think in the comments, and definitely feel free to leave links to your Love-A-Thon posts!
