Top Ten Tuesday (27)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created and hosted by the lovely ladies from the book blog, The Broke and the Bookish. They created this particular feature because they love making and sharing bookish lists with their readers.

Every week, there is a new topic, and bloggers are encouraged to share their own lists with everyone in the book community. All bloggers are encouraged to create a list based on the week's theme, share it with their followers, and then link up on The Broke and Bookish.

It's really easy to join:
  • Go to The Broke and the Bookish to check this week's topic
  • Come up with a top ten list of your own and post it
  • Share your link on The Broke and Bookish

Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant to Get to But Didn't

2016 is in full swing, and I'm loving it. The only thing I'm not loving is the fact that I feel like I missed out on a lot of great 2015 releases. I am hoping to read most of the ones that I missed out on, while reading the 2016 releases. It's going to be tough, but I have faith that I can do it!

Now, without further ado, here is a list of the 2015 releases I meant to read this past year.

The Fantasy and Retelling Titles

Many of you probably know that I don't read a lot of fantasy, but when I do, they are usually books that I adore! The fantasy titles that I didn't get to in 2015 were The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh, The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson, The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige, and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I actually own the first three books pictured, so I'm hoping that I read them soon!

The Contemporary Titles

Making the list for 2015 Contemporary releases that I wanted to read last year are City Love by Susan Colasanti, Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen, The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne, All the Rage by Courtney Summers, I Was Here by Gayle Forman, and Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver. I actually own most of these books, but I kind of got carried away with my reading last year, and never got to them. I am definitely planning on reading all of these this year, and I will be sure to review them on my blog.

What books made your Top Ten Tuesday list this week? Do we have any in common? Feel free to let me know in the comments! Also, feel free to leave a link to your own Top Ten Tuesday post so I can check them out! I'm kind of curious to see what everyone planned on reading in 2015, but didn't have time to read last year.

Happy reading!
