Blog Tour: Wandering Star

Hey, everyone, and welcome to my stop on the Wandering Star blog tour.

I'm really excited to share this post with you today because I read and loved both Zodiac and Wandering Star by Romina Russell. Both books were five-star reads for me, and you can check out my reviews:
Zodiac

Wandering Star

Orphaned, disgraced, and stripped of her title, Rho is ready to live life quietly, as an aid worker in the Cancrian refugee camp on House Capricorn.

But news has spread that the Marad--an unbalanced terrorist group determined to overturn harmony in the Galaxy--could strike any House at any moment.

Then, unwelcome nightmare that he is, Ochus appears to Rho, bearing a cryptic message that leaves her with no choice but to fight.

Now Rho must embark on a high-stakes journey through an all-new set of Houses, where she discovers that there's much more to her Galaxy--and to herself--than she could have ever imagined.

 House Taurus

TaurusThe second House in the Zodiac is House Taurus. House Taurus is made up of two planets and one moon. People only live on one of the planets, Vitulus.

Tauranius is comprised of twelve different landmasses and one shallow ocean. This is the planet that never sleeps. Why? Well its people never sleep.

Cool Facts About House Taurus

  • House Taurus represents industry.
  • The people of House Taurus are very competitive because they like the rewards that follow competition.
  • Outsiders often think of Taurians as stubborn, tunnel-visioned, and intimidating, but that's only because they are hardworking individuals
  • Taurians have earthy complexions, ranging from creamy camel to dark cocoa.
  • Every Taurian has Star-Stock in the House-wide Stock Market. They check up on it daily with a device called a Blotter.
  • Taurus is run like a corporation. The Guardian is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and his or her twelve Advisors are the Executives of the top twelve Taurian companies
  • House Taurus has four day weekends

Now if you read Zodiac, you know that the ending was kind of insane! It got a lot of fans wondering how each House would fight during times of war. The people on House Taurus have their own unique weapon that they like to use in times of war. It's called The Tremble.

The Promisaries of House Taurus have a special war machine called The Tremble: a stout, horn-shaped device that can be plunged into the earth to trigger a small, targeted earthquake. The Tremble is most effective when used in triplicate: Three Promisaries take strategic positions on the battlefield and create a devastating and contained quake within a triangulated area. This can be enormously effective in taking down entire units on the field of battle.
